I'm Tiffany. In 2004 my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer which spread to her liver and is still a battle today. In 2005, my dad was diagnosed with stage IV lymphoma.
It was and still is the most painful thing to watch and talk about. In fact, my chest just tightened up while I was typing that last sentence. The reason I'm starting a blog about this is because I want other young people out there to know that they're not alone. I'm 27 now and it's still hard but I'm more able to handle things.
I remember back in '05 I wished that there was some sort of support group or someone I could talk to. I felt like I was the only person in the world going through it.
I'm going to document my experiences as a therapy to myself and for others to read and hopefully get something out of it.
